The timing of sports day will be reviewed. Considerations may include re-scheduling it to run over a number of allocated mornings, or to be moved to a month with lower UV levels. However if sports day takes place between 11-3pm may – sept then sun cream protection will be observed, including re-applying SPF + after 2 hours, and shading facilities. |

For all benches, fixed seating, equipment etc. during may – sept to be positioned in the shade |

SunSafe awareness and skin cancer prevention is incorporated in to the curriculum for all years and ages especially prior to the start of summer e.g. PSHE, science, geography, etc. |
