 Skin Scanning with Cornwall College Summer 2011

SunSafe visited Duchy Rosewarne campus in May with the UV skin scanner.

After filling out a short questionnaire lots of students and staff had a go on teh skin scanner, this highlights areas of sun damage on your face. The uptake was brillant and throughout the lunch period there was a queue of people waiting their turn on the scanner. After wards advice was provided on your skin type and sun protection.  Some students were shocked with their results and could see images of what their skin would end up like if they continued to venture out with out sun protection. Feedback from all involved was fantastic and lots of participants have said they will be more SunSafe!! The health and Beauty Students kindly helped out offering skin scanning, sun protection advice and diagnosing studnets skin types. Thank you very much for all your help
