SunSafe have recently invested in a skin scanner

This enables students to see their sun damage under a UV light. This resource can be used by schools/businesses/colleges to highlight the importance of being sunsafe.

Training can be provided by sunsafe

This is a fantastic resource and really highlights the need for behavioural change. It works well with PSHE, and Science modules or just to encourage/ remind people of the importance of sun safety

Don’t let the sun burn your skin! Sand and sea increase your risk.

Use a good sun cream - factor 15+ (SPF 30+ for children and fair skins).

Sunburn can double your risk of skin cancer. Keep an eye on your skin!

Wear a broad rimmed hat. Remember the back of your neck!
